“My approach is to connect with the nervous system through the skin which signals to muscles to change their tone.

When moving, our joints act and how they act dictates how we move. Our bodies are never static. When we attempt to become static all muscles must be held rigidly. We are acted on by gravity and our life force and are in constant motion, no matter how small.

Massage brings a change of state, an embodiment and a reset back into alignment. It opens the potential for change that works into all areas of life.

Bodywork is key to a full, enriched life”.

Eleanor is a Registered Massage therapist and Rapid NFR practitioner. Since 2015 she has been helping people get out of pain and transform how they feel in their bodies as a Restorative Exercise Specialist. In 2017 she started massage therapy training to bring additional support to her clients.

Massage quickly became her main passion. While she still offers exercise and recommends it for lasting change, nothing brings immediate pain relief, mood elevation, and calm like massage.

In 2019 Eleanor certified in Rapid Neurofascialreset Upper and lower body, a modality that effectively treats stubborn painful conditions and injuries.

Eleanors approach to all her treatments, is slow, sustained, holistic, and nervous system based.

Outside of work Eleanor enjoys exploring all the unique small businesses and boutiques in Saskatoon and would love to be the Saskatchewanderer one year.

We are all looking for the tools, a plan, and the support we need to achieve our health goals. Our work together helps build an awareness of just how adaptable, resilient, and capable you are.

My own personal experiences of injury, and physical and mental challenges, combined with my manual massage skills, Iyengar Yoga training, and passion for research allows me to offer treatments that enhance and strengthen the health and well-being of my clients.

I seek out opportunities to learn from leaders in our field and to utilize these experiences to create an environment of safety, trust, non-judgement, and possibilities for change with my clients. I am curious about our minds and bodies, constantly learning, and open to new ideas and treatment approaches backed by research and lived experience founded on a practice of metta or loving kindness.

I use a variety of techniques tailored to patient needs which may include Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release and Cupping, Active Engagement Techniques, Muscle Energy, Craniosacral, Visceral, Swedish, Stretching, Joint Mobilization, Thai Massage and Table Thai.

Thai Massage is done fully clothed on a mat on the floor. It incorporates acupressure, movement, breath work and assisted yogic stretching for a dynamic body/mind experience.

In my work with clients I bring my skills in both Thai Massage and Western Therapeutic Massage along with 24 years-worth of continuing education courses, conferences, webinars, retreats and of course, practice. I learned so much about the world of Natural Health by being a member on the board and Past President of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada. I am involved in the professional recognition of Massage Therapy by sitting on the committee for Regulation of Massage in the Province of Saskatchewan.

My passion for motion (motion is lotion) manifests itself in an obsession for cycling: fat biking, gravel biking, mountain biking and cycle commuting. I have always loved cycling. I cycled from Edmonton to Waterton National Park in Alberta and back as a summer holiday. I cycled through the state of Rajasthan in India on an Indian “Hero” bicycle, and have had epic Fat Bike rides in Northern Saskatchewan. Two wheels get me excited. I am also a board member of Canada’s first Fat Bike club, Fatlanders Fat Tire Brigade. For the past few years I have been entering bike races and off-road triathlons more for the excitement of belonging to a positive minded community and the time I get to share with friends outside, than for the chance of winning (I don’t usually win anything, lol). Covid has put a spin on that this summer but I hope to return to group cycling events in the future.

I love the water, having spent my summers as a child at a cabin on a lake and my current favourite water sport is stand up paddle boarding. I love anything that encourages me to play, move my body, and be in nature.

I also love great food, I am an adventurous eater and I love to cook. Thai food is one of my favourite on the planet and I took a cooking class my last trip there in 2018 where we almost lit the roof on fire!

I have a fascination with fermenting and after reading the bible of fermenting, “The Art of Fermentation” by Sandor Katz, I have an array of living organisms whose feeding schedule keeps me organized. I love the products of fermenting (Kombucha, Kefir, Sauerkraut, Kimchi and yoghurt are my staple ferments) as much as the politics of fermenting.

I’m Kara, and I’m a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner. I offer a variety of different BodyTalk sessions including in person, distance, lymphatic support session, and distance pet sessions. I grew up in Lloydminster, AB/SK, and later moved to Saskatoon for university. After university I spent a few years in Weyburn, only to return to Saskatoon a few years ago.

After receiving numerous sessions from some lovely practitioners, and seeing incredible results, the scientist in me finally had to know what was happening! How could something so simple, work so well. See I come from a very scientific, analytical background, graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, majoring in Environmental Science and Soil Science. I’ve always been curious about my world. So I began to dig deeper by taking Mindscape in November of 2016. This course cracked me open and made me realize there was so much more that I didn’t know. I took the Fundamentals course in May of 2017 and got to work.

I’ve been practising for over two years now and am falling more and more in love with it every day.

What’s next? Who knows! But hopefully you get to be a part of my journey and I get to be a part of yours!

Her business name is Sephira, the goddess of divine intelligence and creativity, that which permeates everything. As a healing practitioner, she sees herself as holding the space for the client to deepen into their own divine intelligence, supporting the body’s ability to heal itself in an open, safe and trusting environment.

She provides massage therapy and in particular, she is a community leader in breast massage and breast health education. Pam uses a Quantum Wave Scalar laser unit which works at the cellular level to donate light energy (ATP) while promoting anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. It can be used in conjunction with other techniques in any session.

Pam teaches Breast Massage to massage therapists and the general public, as well as the Healthy Breast Foundations class, developed by Dr. Kaur.

As a Yoga Instructor Pam plans to teach a Yoga for Breast Care class. She has also been involved in a variety of massage, cancer, lymph, and breast related research projects.

I have been a registered massage therapist since 2009. Upon graduating from the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy, I worked for several years as an RMT in Saskatoon. I then began to teach massage therapy at PIMT. I completed my fire cupping course during this time.

After 4 years of teaching, I greatly missed working with clients and I decided to go back to massaging.

Throughout the years, I have gained experience in both spa and clinical settings. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories. It is a great privilege to be a part of their health care journey. I love hearing and seeing the results of clients who receive regular massage treatments.

When I am not massaging, I am busy with my two young daughters (6 and 9 years old). In the summers, they are in training at our family-owned ice cream store. Their favourite part of the job is taste-testing all of the ice cream!

As a team member of BHC and this amazing group of health care practitioners, I look forward to meeting you!

In June 2015, I moved to Saskatchewan and have truly enjoyed working as a part-time massage therapist within the communities of Warman and Saskatoon.

“Find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

It is gratifying to me to say these words, every day.

In 1996, an intuitive friend of mine suggested that I would be good at massage therapy. Two years later, I graduated, with honours, from the McKay Massage & Hydrotherapy program in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I am also a Registered Massage Therapist with the Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan (MTAS).

Working at Temple Gardens Mineral Spa in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan gave me an opportunity to hone my skills for the relaxation aspects of my treatments I offer now. I was attuned for my first degree of reiki during this time and have since gained my 2nd degree of Reiki.

When a person comes to see me for massage therapy and/or reiki, my focus is on creating a space to support the healing potential within each client, be that physical or emotional. The combination of massage therapy and reiki creates a balance of muscle manipulation (light or deep pressure) and relaxation, which can offer a client pain relief, more pliable soft tissue structures, and emotional releases.

It is an exciting experience to be a part of the Broadway Health Collective and I look forward to doing my best to help you.

For approximately 7 years, I have welcomed the sport of curling into my life. During the autumn & winter months, I enjoy the strategy, fun and social aspects of the game. I also enjoy spending time at the family farm. It is a point of sanctuary for me, with the peace and quiet of the natural, country atmosphere.

White Sage Reflexology Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist (RCRT) with Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC). Acupressure Mastery Certification

Reflexology is a natural, non-invasive therapy embracing the concept of holistic treatment. The feet are microcosms of the whole body and by stimulating the nerve endings in the feet we send messages along nerve pathways to various organs.

We simply encourage the body to heal itself. A one hour Reflexology session treats the entire body.

Acupressure is an ancient healing art that uses the fingers to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body’s natural self-curative abilities.

These two treatments combined will ease your body into a deep parasympathtic state, alleviate pain, lower stress, reduce anxiety, and improve overall wellbeing.

I help you find a place where you can rest, a place where healing happens. Not because I am doing it, but because I’m co-creating with you a safe environment which supports your own innate healing capacity. You are the Healer.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy recognizes that our health is always present. The stresses and strains of everyday life, coupled with the many layers of history which we carry within our body, can create obstacles to us experiencing our health in its’ fullness.

Fundamental to the biodynamic model of Craniosacral Therapy is that all life expresses itself through motion, in rhythmic waves which travel throughout the body’s fluid system. We call this movement Primary Respiration. Trusting in these subtle rhythms to guide the treatments, I place my hands in specific ways to support your body to connect with the developmental forces at work in us since conception. Using verbal skills and touch, we orient to safety in present time. The body then shifts from active/defensive hormones to rest/ heal hormones and your healing journey begins.

My practice is inspired by my desire to support my clients to experience life from a sense of wholeness. This is a result of my own healing journey, and the profoundly positive effect it has had on my life. I am especially inspired to help babies, moms and their families resolve the crippling effects of traumas and stresses that happen during gestation, birth and early neonatal life. The pre and perinatal period is a unique time in our lives where both mother and child have an opportunity to re-pattern imprints and change the course of their lives.

Some educational history: I have been a registered massage therapist since 2003, and this training has informed my practice regarding anatomy and physiology. I completed my Biodynamic Craniosacral (BCST) foundation training in 2007 with Dr. Michael Shea. Craniosacral therapy has lineage that is known to date as far back as the Shawnee and Cherokee nations ‘Bone Setting’ and Dr. Andrew Stills. He immersed himself in studying with them and began to develop the present day model of Osteopathy.

I completed my Advanced Pre and Perinatal Psychology Training- Resolving Early Developmental Trauma with Myrna Martin in 2015. This was the missing piece to the puzzle. With the pre and perinatal work, we are connecting with imprints, the long lasting effects of our early experiences, which affect all aspects of our lives into adulthood, from the health of our bodies to the health of our relationships. With Craniosacral Therapy, we are working with Primary Respiration, which can access those places of inertia. Combined, my clients experience more satisfaction with their health, with their relationship to themselves, others and their life.

I love to move my body, dancing, yoga and Pilates. It delights me that they share a common language with my work: grounding, balance, midline, and my favourite – opening the heart.

As a Registered Massage Therapist, (MTAS -2001) and a Certified Laser Therapist, (Bioflex Laser- 2009), I have a special interest in the human body and its capacity to adapt, heal and regenerate.

When you book in with me, you can expect that I will work to understand your treatment goals by listening to your journey and concerns. Then, using my experience and continued education as a platform creating a treatment plan to encourage the body to move toward a direction of healing.

Pain and dealing with pain is my focus but I do not feel that the journey should be, nor has to be, painful. I strive to provide a therapeutic treatment approach that is effective but relaxing at the same time.

I had a whiplash injury myself whereby massage was very instrumental in helping me recover. From that experience I fell in love with massage and the idea of being able to help people deal with pain and injury. Laser therapy, another modality that helped me recover from both chronic and acute injuries, provides a different way to help with pain and healing.

The Boiflex Laser System is a Low Intensity Laser, also referred to as Low Level or Cold Laser. Bioflex Laser Therapy utilizes red and infrared light to interact with tissue, which promotes healing and often eliminates pain. Laser Therapy offers patients a safe and effective therapy for a wide range of medical conditions, including soft tissue and sports injuries, arthritic conditions, repetitive stress injuries, wound healing and a variety of general health problems.

In addition to addressing chronic or acute soft tissue injuries and pain, I very much enjoy working with new and expecting moms.

FIRMA energywear has been a part of my clinic since 2014. This unique product has many benefits to joint, muscle and skin and is available to view, fit and purchase in clinic, during your appointment or by contacting me directly. You can also click on Products in the menu bar for more information.

I love nature and gardening and my ultimate joy is my family.
