A Holistic Approach to Healing and Wellness
I am a manual therapist with a passion for helping clients transform their relationship with their health and well-being. Drawing from a strong background in anatomy, physiology, neurology, restorative exercise, energy healing, meditation, and coaching—I craft personalized treatments that address the whole person.
As a Registered Massage Therapist and Manual Osteopathic Therapist, I blend my extensive training and intuitive understanding to create sessions that are as unique as the individuals I work with. Whether you’re seeking relief from pain, support for a chronic condition, or a deeper connection to your own healing potential, I am here to guide you with expertise, compassion, and care.
My Approach
-
Massage Therapy: Ideal for musculoskeletal issues and stress-related conditions, massage therapy is a cornerstone of my practice. It’s a powerful tool for releasing tension, restoring balance, and promoting overall wellness.
-
Rapid NeuroFascial Reset (NFR): While intense, this highly effective treatment is designed to resolve pain quickly, offering lasting relief for even the most stubborn conditions.
-
Manual Osteopathic Therapy: A gentle yet profoundly effective approach, this modality addresses not only musculoskeletal concerns but also nervous system imbalances, visceral issues, fascial restrictions, and more. It’s perfect for those seeking a holistic, assessment-based treatment.
-
Energy Healing: For clients at a crossroads, feeling overwhelmed, or navigating conditions that make manual therapy challenging, energy healing offers a peaceful, restorative experience. It’s a space to reconnect, recharge, and find clarity.
Originally from London, England, I’ve lived in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, and Vancouver, BC, before settling in Saskatoon with my family in 2012. I’m a firm believer in the power of self-care and collaboration, and I’m proud to work alongside a network of skilled practitioners at BHC and beyond.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my wonderful family, diving into a good book, engaging in lively and hilarious conversations with friends, or wandering the city as a flâneur—exploring, observing, and finding inspiration in the world around me.

I have been a Massage Therapist for over 27 years practicing Therapeutic Table Massage and Thai Massage on a floor mat. I studied Traditional Thai Massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand at RePlace and the Thai Massage School of Chiang Mai. I am also grateful for the opportunity to study and practice the unique styles of Dynamic Thai Massage and Osteothai as taught by David Lutt of France’s Lulyani Thai Massage. Currently, I also teach classes on Dynamic Thai Massage.
Recently my practice has been influenced by the work of Tracey Windmill who teaches the “Art of Transformational Touch.” Creating an environment of safety, trust, non-judgement and care allows the possibility for change and healing by supporting connection, deep listening and trust in the body’s abiity to heal.
My personal experiences of injury, and other physical and mental challenges, combined with my manual massage skills, Iyengar Yoga training, and passion for research, informs my treatments and teaching that support, enhance and strengthen health and well-being.
I use a variety of techniques tailored to client needs which may include Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Cupping, Active Engagement Techniques, Muscle Energy, Craniosacral, Visceral, Swedish, Stretching, Joint Mobilization, Thai Massage, Dynamic Thai and Osteothai.
Thai Massage is one element of the Thai Medical system derived from Indigenous Thai practices influenced by Buddhist philosophy, Yoga, Indian Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine. Thai Massage is traditionally performed on a floor mat with the client fully clothed, but can also be adapted for work on the table. Thai Massage is often described as a combination of yoga and massage, using compression, passive range of dynamic motion, pressure point therapy and fascial manipulation. Thai Massage is a way of being present with, listening to, and dynamically mobilizing the body from a foundation of metta or loving kindness.
I am a Lifetime Member, Past Board Member and Past President of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC). Currently, I am a member of the Saskatchewan College of Massage Therapists Working Group for the regulation of Massage in the Province of Saskatchewan.

I’m Kara, and I’m a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner. I offer a variety of different BodyTalk sessions including in person, distance, lymphatic support session, and distance pet sessions. I grew up in Lloydminster, AB/SK, and later moved to Saskatoon for university. After university I spent a few years in Weyburn, only to return to Saskatoon a few years ago.
After receiving numerous sessions from some lovely practitioners, and seeing incredible results, the scientist in me finally had to know what was happening! How could something so simple, work so well. See I come from a very scientific, analytical background, graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, majoring in Environmental Science and Soil Science. I’ve always been curious about my world. So I began to dig deeper by taking Mindscape in November of 2016. This course cracked me open and made me realize there was so much more that I didn’t know. I took the Fundamentals course in May of 2017 and got to work.
I’ve been practising ever since and am falling more and more in love with it every day.
What’s next? Who knows! But hopefully you get to be a part of my journey and I get to be a part of yours!

I have been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2009. Upon graduating from the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy, I worked for several years as an RMT in Saskatoon. I then began to teach massage therapy at PIMT. I completed my fire cupping course during this time.
After 4 years of teaching, I greatly missed working with clients and I decided to go back to massaging.
Throughout the years, I have gained experience in both spa and clinical settings. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories. It is a great privilege to be a part of their health care journey. I love hearing and seeing the results of clients who receive regular massage treatments.
When I am not massaging, I am busy with my two young daughters (8 and 11 years old). In the summers, they are in training at our family-owned ice cream store. Their favourite part of the job is taste-testing all of the ice cream!
As a team member of BHC and this amazing group of health care practitioners, I look forward to meeting you!

My aim is to provide treatment for individuals that assist your body to flow; both fluids and energy.
I conquered a brain tumor in 2011 using craniosacral therapy and lymphatic drainage. I started learning everything I could to help others. In 2008 I started Bodymomentum and have continued down this path. I graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1990 and continue to nurse in occupational health to date. I am able to bring the ‘art of caring’ to the forefront of my practice. Listening and working directly with clients (and their families) allows me to comprehend the patient’s whole being, not just their physical.

“Find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”
It is gratifying to me to say these words, every day.
In 1996, an intuitive friend of mine suggested that I would be good at massage therapy. Two years later, I graduated, with honours, from the McKay Massage & Hydrotherapy program in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I am also a Registered Massage Therapist with the Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan (MTAS).
Working at Temple Gardens Mineral Spa in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan gave me an opportunity to hone my skills for the relaxation aspects of my treatments I offer now. I was attuned for my first degree of reiki during this time and have since gained my 2nd degree of Reiki.
When a person comes to see me for massage therapy and/or reiki, my focus is on creating a space to support the healing potential within each client, be that physical or emotional. The combination of massage therapy and reiki creates a balance of muscle manipulation (light or deep pressure) and relaxation, which can offer a client pain relief, more pliable soft tissue structures, and emotional releases.
It is an exciting experience to be a part of the Broadway Health Collective and I look forward to doing my best to help you.
For approximately 7 years, I have welcomed the sport of curling into my life. During the autumn & winter months, I enjoy the strategy, fun and social aspects of the game. I also enjoy spending time at the family farm. It is a point of sanctuary for me, with the peace and quiet of the natural, country atmosphere.

White Sage Reflexology Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist (RCRT) with Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC). Acupressure Mastery Certification
Reflexology is a natural, non-invasive therapy embracing the concept of holistic treatment. The feet are microcosms of the whole body and by stimulating the nerve endings in the feet we send messages along nerve pathways to various organs.
We simply encourage the body to heal itself. A one hour Reflexology session treats the entire body.
Acupressure is an ancient healing art that uses the fingers to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body’s natural self-curative abilities.
These two treatments combined will ease your body into a deep parasympathtic state, alleviate pain, lower stress, reduce anxiety, and improve overall wellbeing.

I help you find a place where you can rest, a place where healing happens. Not because I am doing it, but because I’m co-creating with you a safe environment which supports your own innate healing capacity. You are the Healer.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy recognizes that our health is always present. The stresses and strains of everyday life, coupled with the many layers of history which we carry within our body, can create obstacles to us experiencing our health in its’ fullness.
Fundamental to the biodynamic model of Craniosacral Therapy is that all life expresses itself through motion, in rhythmic waves which travel throughout the body’s fluid system. We call this movement Primary Respiration. Trusting in these subtle rhythms to guide the treatments, I place my hands in specific ways to support your body to connect with the developmental forces at work in us since conception. Using verbal skills and touch, we orient to safety in present time. The body then shifts from active/defensive hormones to rest/ heal hormones and your healing journey begins.
My practice is inspired by my desire to support my clients to experience life from a sense of wholeness. This is a result of my own healing journey, and the profoundly positive effect it has had on my life. I am especially inspired to help babies, moms and their families resolve the crippling effects of traumas and stresses that happen during gestation, birth and early neonatal life. The pre and perinatal period is a unique time in our lives where both mother and child have an opportunity to re-pattern imprints and change the course of their lives.
Some educational history: I have been a registered massage therapist since 2003, and this training has informed my practice regarding anatomy and physiology. I completed my Biodynamic Craniosacral (BCST) foundation training in 2007 with Dr. Michael Shea. Craniosacral therapy has lineage that is known to date as far back as the Shawnee and Cherokee nations ‘Bone Setting’ and Dr. Andrew Stills. He immersed himself in studying with them and began to develop the present day model of Osteopathy.
I completed my Advanced Pre and Perinatal Psychology Training- Resolving Early Developmental Trauma with Myrna Martin in 2015. This was the missing piece to the puzzle. With the pre and perinatal work, we are connecting with imprints, the long lasting effects of our early experiences, which affect all aspects of our lives into adulthood, from the health of our bodies to the health of our relationships. With Craniosacral Therapy, we are working with Primary Respiration, which can access those places of inertia. Combined, my clients experience more satisfaction with their health, with their relationship to themselves, others and their life.
I love to move my body, dancing, yoga and Pilates. It delights me that they share a common language with my work: grounding, balance, midline, and my favourite – opening the heart.

As a Registered Massage Therapist (MTAS -2001), Rapid NFR Specialist (2024) and a Certified Laser Therapist, (Bioflex Laser- 2009), I have a special interest in the human body and its capacity to adapt, heal and regenerate.
I first became interested in massage therapy after sustaining a whiplash injury myself. Because massage was very instrumental in helping me recover, I fell in love with the modality and the idea of being able to help people deal with pain and injury.
When you book in with me, you can expect that I will work to understand your treatment goals by listening to your journey and your concerns.
Pain and dealing with pain is my primary focus and I strive to provide an individual therapeutic treatment approach that is effective for each patient.
Rapid Neurofascial Reset is the most recent form of therapy that I have added to my practise. Rapid addresses the body from a pain perspective and involves accessing the fascial tissue, decreasing pain and increasing range of motion.
Laser therapy, or Photobiomodulation is another modality that helped me recover from both chronic and acute injuries. This therapy provides a different way to help with pain and healing.
The Bioflex Laser System is a Low Intensity Laser, also referred to as Low Level or Cold Laser. Bioflex Laser Therapy utilizes red and infrared light to interact with tissue, which promotes healing and often eliminates pain. Laser Therapy offers patients a safe and effective therapy for a wide range of medical conditions, including soft tissue and sports injuries, arthritic conditions and repetitive stress injuries.
In addition to addressing chronic or acute soft tissue injuries and pain, I very much enjoy working with new and expecting moms. I have a beautiful pregnancy cushion that allows me to help you find a comfortable position that allows you to relax while receiving treatment.
FIRMA energywear has been a part of my clinic since 2014. This unique product has many benefits to joint, muscle and skin and is available to view, fit and purchase in clinic, during your appointment or by contacting me directly. You can also click on Products in the menu bar for more information.
I love nature and gardening and my ultimate joy is my family, including 6 grandchildren :)
